Hi! Today is Monday and Dara will hopefully be leaving the hosptial after another stay. They ran more tests, drained fluid from her neck, did another spinal tap and hooked her up to IV antibiotics. They did remove the "pic" line, but she will be going home with another line in her. They were projecting she would get to leave on Monday. We are gearing up for some more family visits and can't wait to spend the time together! Dara has been so strong through all of this! Thank you for your thoughts!

- Im a 39 year old mother of two beautiful kiddos that was diagnosed with a 4 cm brain tumor (Golf ball size) called an Acoustic Neuroma on 2/24/08. Madeline is 5 yo and Mason is 3 yo. I have been a stay at home Mommie since Mason came into our lives. I miss my Oncology nursing field-but love being home. I have an awesome marriage to my hubby Art. Were best friends and soul mates. He was worth the wait!!! I am a lucky girl.

I know this must seem overwhelming. Keep fighting and know the Hales and Wickers are praying for you. Jeff, Mom and Nathan continue to regularly ask about how you are doing. Get well soon so we can see each other in July. Oh, by the way, your kiddos are adorable!!!Love you girl!

OK, so here is the deal...I keep having trouble w/my face stuff and you keep having trouble w/ your head stuff so how about we make a pact to NOT fly/rush back to any Dr.'s or hospitals except for scheduled appointments?? I am game if you are!! :o)
