Pray, Pray!

We just go word from Art that Dara has taken a little downward turn for now. (I say for now, because I believe in God's healing power). She does have bacterial meningitis and the antibiotics they were giving her haven't been working. Her white blood count went back up and she started getting sick again everytime she moves. They have scheduled another MRI for this evening and hopefully we will know more soon.

We love you Dara! You are the best sister we could ever ask for!! Fight hard and know we are dreaming about the day we can all be together soon. We so wish we were there to hold your hand, but we know you are in the best hands ever with Art.

All our love, Michelle and Julie

Dear Dara, Michelle, Julie and families - Please know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of so many people. We have to keep faith in the Lord and in the mysterious ways he works. I don't write often but do check the updates several times each day. Know that I love you and am keeping you all in my prayers. Joanie

I guess this is the day God intended for me to leave my message. I have been meaning to log on and leave a message and always got distracted. However, I have been praying for the Freed/Simpson Family.

Dara,

I pray that God's healing hand touch your body. Lord, make every part of Dara's body function the way You designed it to. Wherever there is anything out of balance, set it in perfect working order. Heal her of any disease, illness, injury, infirmity, and weakness. Strengthen her body. I pray that she be restored, rejuvenated and refreshed. Lord, I pray that you would give Dara a strong heart that doesn't fail. I pray that You would sustain and heal her. Fill her w/your joy to give her strength. Specifically, I pray for the medications to clear the meningitis and that NO other complications arise to attack her body. Give Dara faith to say, "O Lord my God, I cried out to You, and you healed me" (Psalms 30:2). Thank You, Lord, that You are her Healer. I pray that Dara will live a long and healthy life in Jesus Name. Hallelujah! Amen!

Family, do not be discouraged by this. Hold on to God's unchanging and and praise Him for healing Dara.

Much Love,
Sonya Pinkney-Young

Our prayers are with you. Stay strong in your faith. Our God is an AWESOME GOD! He is a God of miracles and healing. I saw first hand last week how God can take the worst of circumstances and turn them around even when all the science says something different. God is the one in control and he loves Dara far more than we ever could. He will take care of her.
Stand strong with HIM! We love ya'll

Dara and Art: Just wanted to let you know, Maddie was beautiful in her pre-school program. Mason had a blast playing with all the kids, sliding down the slide, and running around. We look forward to your homecoming Dara and the candle is burning bright in our home for you both. Art's parents are on their way to you now and Maddie and Mason are hanging out with their cousin, Justice. We anxiously await good news, so keep fighting Dara! The Torres Family
