Dara is still in the hospital and was able to get up and walk around and get down some chicken! They do not want to release her yet until they are sure she is on her way to recovery. (we are glad about this) They found a spot on her lung during the x-ray and think she may have pneumonia. She feels great though! They were waiting to hear the latest test results, they weren't sure if it was a great x-ray previously because she was so sick.
Thank you for your thoughts, prayers and messages! We are blessed to have such great friends! Thank you Stephanie for coming to the hospital to take care of her for the evening and so Art could get some shut-eye! It has been so great re-connecting with friends and hearing from everyone! Thank you!

- Im a 39 year old mother of two beautiful kiddos that was diagnosed with a 4 cm brain tumor (Golf ball size) called an Acoustic Neuroma on 2/24/08. Madeline is 5 yo and Mason is 3 yo. I have been a stay at home Mommie since Mason came into our lives. I miss my Oncology nursing field-but love being home. I have an awesome marriage to my hubby Art. Were best friends and soul mates. He was worth the wait!!! I am a lucky girl.

I was so glad to see Dara and finally be able to help with more than cards and prayers. It was wonderful to be the to watch Dara "turn the corner" so to speak. And, we go to have our version of a slumber party. Although, we both agree that our next girls' day is not going to include a hospital. Looking forward to seeing Dara when she gets home.
I thought you would say "queso" instead of chicken, but that is still great. I'm so glad she is feeling better. Michelle, thanks for the updates. You girls are wonderful. Can't wait until July comes around to see all of you. Only 31 days left of school...

I am so happy to hear you are making progress, yet again. You are a true hero and a fighter.
